Kindling Creek was born in December 2023 from a simple belief: the scents of the outdoors are worth bringing home.

Based in Inver Grove Heights, our family-owned business isn’t just about pouring candles—it’s about capturing the essence of the places we love most. Whether we’re fly fishing in the Driftless area, exploring the rugged beauty of the North Shore, paddling through the Boundary Waters, or soaking in the wide-open peace of the western prairies, we are constantly finding inspiration for our next scent.

A Family Affair

Kindling Creek is a true family endeavor. You’ll find our two sons, Finley and Keagan, right in the thick of it—testing new fragrance combinations, helping brainstorm names based on our latest adventures, and learning the value of hard work.

Our signature crackling wood wicks were born from our love of gathering around a campfire. We wanted to replicate that cozy, comforting sound and the feeling of connection that comes with a flickering flame after a long day in the woods or by the lake.

We believe in leaving the places we explore better than we found them. That is why our mission extends beyond the wax. We are proud to partner with a conservation organization to plant a tree for every order. For us and our kids, it’s a tangible way to ensure that the woods, rivers, and prairies we love today are thriving for generations to come.
